Declaration of Independence road trip

traveling exhibit visiting about 100 cities in all fifty states plus the district of columbia

Siteline Productions designed, implemented and managed an 18-month tour of Norman Lear’s Dunlap Broadside copy of the Declaration of Independence.

Norman’s vision was to inspire the country to become more civic-minded with the hope that the tour would lead them toward positive action and civic participation. The tour aimed to foster a greater sense of the importance of our country’s democratic process, as well as to compel viewers to register to vote.

The exhibit was comprised of three distinct experiences:

  • CALL TO ACTION via a star-studded video presentation.

  • INSPIRATION TO ACT via an up close and personal viewing of the Declaration of Independence.

  • ACTION via your declaration to become involved in the democratic process.
