D&D CELEBRATION 2021

your ticket to adventure awaits!

Drawing on the successes of 2020’s D&D Live and D&D Celebration, Siteline Productions was engaged to deliver an outstanding virtual experience once again for D&D Celebration 2021.

D&D Celebration took place September 24-26, bringing fans together from around the world for an extended weekend of panels, streamed games, epic virtual play experiences— and the triumphant conclusion of DM Challenge.

The Dungeon Master Challenge began in June of 2021 with over 600 initial submissions from contestants spanning three continents and nine countries.  Ten finalists were chosen to participate in a weekly 72-hour challenge with one contestant being eliminated each week.  Siteline Productions developed the weekly entry submission portal, produced the weekly challenge videos as well as the judge’s deliberation segments.  Contestant bio’s and up to the week elimination information were hosted in the custom website.

Siteline Productions produced the Final Challenge encounter which tasked each of the three finalists with serving as the Dungeon Master while using content created by one of their competitors.  Each finalist had one hour to guide our judges through their adventure and showcase their DM skills.

The expanded launch of the DND Celebration website commenced on September 23rd with a special Session Zero session featuring Host, Elle Osili-Wood and Dungeons and Dragons Community Lead, Brandy Camel.  The full event schedule, access to virtual games, and the highly anticipated Witchlight Carnival Event Map were released at as well.  The Witchlight Carnival map encouraged participants to work through a virtual scavenger hunt where puzzles and games unlocked more areas to explore.  The most astute adventurers who worked their way to the finish were rewarded with exclusive preview content from The Wild Beyond the Witchlight: A Feywild Adventure.

As the producing partner, Siteline Productions curated three days of content including ten panels, nine hosted games and the dramatic reveal of the DM Challenge Champion.  Broadcast guests spanned four continents and ten time-zones.
